Pierre-Antoine Badoz | Pierre-Antoine Badoz is Orange Group’ Chief Compliance Officer since October 2014 and was previously “Directeur Orange Est”, responsible for Orange operations in Alsace, Bourgogne, Franche-Comté, and Lorraine regions from March 2011. Graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Télécom Paris Tech, PhD in Physics from Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, Pierre-Antoine Badoz started his career in R&D. After being advisor to the French minister of Industry, he joined the France Télécom Group in 1997 where he was head of Strategy and Finance at the Wholesale division, of the « Paris la Défense » B2B unit, of R&D « technology » division and of the Group Public Affairs. |

Pedro Costa | Partner, Risk Consulting, Forensic Pedro Costa began his career in the FS Audit department of KPMG in 2006, focusing on financial audit engagements, internal control assessments, and credit reviews in the banking sector. In 2008, he joined the Forensic team and has been a Partner since 2023. Pedro specializes in AML & CTF compliance, competition and economics, dispute advisory, and fraud and bribery investigations. He has led various projects across multiple countries, including Angola, the Bahamas, France, Greece, Kenya, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK. His work involves developing compliance frameworks, conducting gap analyses, risk assessments, and providing training for specialists and board members. Dr. Kyrill Farbmann | Dr. Kyrill Farbmann is Compliance Director at McDonald’s. He is based in Brussels, frequently travelling all over Europe, CIS and Northern Africa. Prior to taking his current role, Kyrill has been working as Compliance and Ethics Manager for International Paper, as well as for international law firms Jones Day and Latham and Watkins in the areas of corporate compliance, FCPA, antitrust and privacy. He has significant experience in compliance audits and internal investigations. Kyrill teaches and publishes on corporate compliance matters and is a frequent speaker at conferences on compliance programs, internal investigations, bribery and corruption, as well as export compliance. He is member of the bar of Düsseldorf, Germany. |

João Madeira | Partner, Risk Consulting, Forensic João Madeira has 24 years of experience in Advisory Services and has been with KPMG since 2006, joining the Risk Consulting practice. In 2013, he became part of the Forensic team and has been a Partner since 2017. More recently, João has taken on additional responsibilities in Cyber Security, Data Privacy, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance services. Prof. Dr. Bartosz Makowicz | Bartosz Makowicz is a university professor at the Faculty of Law of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). He is the initiator and director of the Viadrina Compliance Center, the first intra- and interdisciplinary scientific research institution on governance, risk and compliance. Bartosz is additionally a member of various academic advisory boards and advisory committees of compliance associations, such as the German Institute for Compliance. He is the author of many professional publications in national and international journals. He is also the author of handbooks and monographs on compliance topics. In total, Makowicz has published over 100 titles on the interdisciplinary research field of governance, risk and compliance. As a compliance expert, he has given more than 100 lectures at national and international conferences and congresses and is employed worldwide as a professional compliance trainer. Among other things, he heads the German delegation for the development of the standards ISO 19600 Compliance Management Systems as well as ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems on a global level and chaired the national mirror committee "Governance and Compliance Management" at DIN e.V.. In these functions, he will in future be in charge of the newly established TC 309 for the development of a global ISO standard for governance and whistleblowing. Among other things, he advises national and foreign governments on compliance issues. He is furthermore an academic advisor at the Compliance Academy, the Münster-based company specialising in compliance training. |
Prof. Dra. Margarida Mano | Margarida Mano, with a PhD in Management from the University of Southampton, is currently Vice-Rector for Quality, Innovation and Development at the Portuguese Catholic University, President of the Board of FORGES (Associação Fórum da Gestão do Ensino Superior nos Países e Regiões de Língua Portuguesa), President of the Board of TI-PT, the Transparency and Integrity Associate and an effective member of the National Board of the Order of Economists. She teaches in the areas of Economics (economic policies) and Management (strategic management, institutional evaluation and quality management). Her main areas of scientific research interest are Strategic Management (foresight analysis, scenarios), Change Management, Quality and Governance Models, having participated in various international projects in these areas, namely as an EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) specialist in the field of Education. |
Dr. João Massano | João Massano (1970), has been a lawyer for almost three decades, having started his practice in 1994, the year he graduated from the University of Lisbon Law Faculty (FDUL). Master in Law (Legal and Business Sciences) since 2006 (FDUL), he has maintained an academic career for about 17 years, as a University Professor at FDUL, Lusófona University and Moderna University. Nowadays dedicated to solo practice, with his own office in Lisbon, he was, for 16 years, a partner in the law firm ATMJ, which he founded with António Jaime Martins, Teresa Duarte and Miguel Resende. President of the Lisbon Regional Council of the Bar Association, starting his second mandate (he was elected for the first time in November 2019) has been connected to this Organ of the Bar Association since 2011, first, as member-treasurer of the Lisbon District Council of the BA (triennium 2011-2013 and in the two following mandates) and, also, as vice-president, responsible for the Training section (triennia 2014-2016 and 2017-2019). Legal Advisor to the Portuguese Franchise Association, he has published works in the areas of Labor Law, Commercial Law and Community Law, is a lecturer in the areas of Labor Law, Insurance Law and Commercial Law and publishes frequently in the Portuguese press. |
Dr. Klaus Moosmayer | Klaus Moosmayer joined Novartis in 2018 as Chief Ethics, Risk & Compliance Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. He was previously chief compliance officer at Siemens AG. Klaus led the launch of a new Code of Ethics based on crowdsourced feedback from employees and on behavioral science. He introduced new integrated risk and compliance management systems and related digital platforms to manage risks in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, with a special focus on Human Rights and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. Klaus was the first head of compliance from a company to be invited to address the General Assembly of the United Nations about the fight against corruption. He represents business in global integrity, governance, compliance and anti-corruption platforms at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), G20/B20, World Economic Forum (WEF) and other organizations. As a believer in collaboration, Klaus co-founded and chaired a nonprofit association of compliance heads from major European companies and is driving collective action efforts to foster joint integrity standards within the pharmaceutical industry and beyond. |

Dr. Mário Neves | Mário António Pinho Gaspar Neves, graduated in Economics, working in the banking and financial sector since 1986, focusing on the areas of financial auditing, compliance and governance. He was responsible for several areas within the Audit Division at Banco Comercial Português and was Head of Audit Division. Catarina Pardal Monteiro | Representing the Compliance Women Committee (CWC) and with over 10 years of experience in Anticorruption Compliance, she is currently the Senior Anticorruption Compliance Manager at a leading Portuguese multinational retail group. Previously, she led the anticorruption compliance team at a major Brazilian airline (GOL), served as a Compliance Manager at a global consulting firm in Brazil (EY), and worked as an attorney specializing in compliance and investigations at a Brazilian law firm (Chediak). Dr. João Pedro Paro | João Pedro Paro is an experienced executive with a strong background in strategic governance, compliance, and risk management across global markets. He currently serves as the Global Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Oyster HR, where he leads a multinational team and has modernized corporate governance frameworks and compliance programs for numerous legal entities worldwide. Magdalena Soboń-Stasiak | Since 2004, I have been associated with ArcelorMittal Poland S.A., initially serving as a lawyer and later transitioning into the role of Compliance Officer in 2009. I am a graduate of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice, as well as a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Additionally, I have completed postgraduate studies at the "Akademia Spółek" at the Warsaw School of Economics. I hold certifications as a Certified Approved Compliance Officer from the University of Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder, Germany, as well as a Certified Compliance Expert from the Institute of Compliance. Prof. Dr. Wim Vandekerckhove | Wim Vandekerckhove is (Full) Professor of Business Ethics at EDHEC Business School in France. He has provided expertise on whistleblowing systems to various organizations, including Council of Europe, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Wim is a committee member of the British Standards Institute (BSI) on governance. He led the development of ISO-37002, the international standard for Whistleblowing Management Systems, and participated in developing BS-25700 Organizational Responses to Modern Slavery, and ISO-37008 Internal Investigations of Organizations. |
Prof. Dr. Sonja Wüstemann | Sonja Wüstemann is Professor of Financial Reporting at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and member of the Viadrina Compliance Center. She is also member of the Scientific Committee of German Institute for Compliance (DICO) and the DICO Working Group on CSR and Human Rights. Her research focus is on ESG disclosure / CSR reporting with a particular interest in human rights disclosures. |
Dr. Uta Zentes | Dr Uta Zentes LL.M. (Eur) is a lawyer and in-house lawyer as well as head of a Compliance function. She is responsible for capital market compliance, corruption prevention and combating other criminal offences, money laundering and terrorist financing, financial sanctions as well as MaRisk compliance and relevant references to sustainability issues. Prior to this, she held various management positions in the compliance department of a major bank for several years. These were preceded by longer periods abroad within the bank in New York and Singapore. She then worked for many years in Big Four companies in preventive and forensic compliance consulting for the financial and non-financial sectors. Her consulting work also included projects on compliance and ethics. She has also conducted annual audits of compliance issues in the financial sector. Dr Zentes is co-editor of a commentary on the Money Laundering Act. She regularly gives specialist lectures, publishes specialist articles and is involved in expert networks. |
