Viadrina International Program – for Graduates (VIP)

Due to financial limitations, the Viadrina International Program – for Graduates (VIP) will end on June 30, 2024, and applications from doctoral candidates will not be accepted until further notice.

There are different options for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers to spend time abroad. Here you will find an overview of the various ways to gain international experience.

Outgoing

There are different programs for EUV doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates with teaching responsibilities, who wish to spend time abroad during their doctoral studies.

Doctoral candidates can be eligible for financial support through the ERASMUS+ program. For this purpose, please contact our ERASMUS+ coordinators, Erasmus+ Blended Short Term Mobilities coordinator or the Doctoral Mobility Coordinator for Blended Intensive Programs (BIP).

If you have any general questions regarding the persuit of doctoral studies at the European University Viadrina, you can contact the Viadrina Center for Graduate Studies (VCGS).

Incoming

There are different programs for doctoral candidates and teaching staff who wish to spend time at the European University Viadrina (EUV).

If you are from one of our many partner universities, you should inquire about mobility programs and scholarships at your home university.

For a successful stay, it's important to reach out to a department or chair at EUV that aligns closely with the focus of your PhD project or academic interests. Finding a suitable chair who is interested in hosting you is an essential step in planning your visit.
