Microsoft Word offers a wide variety of ways to format text. Often, however, it takes a lot of time to implement the formatting you want, because users do not exactly know where and how to find the desired options within the program. In this workshop, the most common ways to format written work whilst studying are discussed and tested: i.a. Format page counts, create an automatic table of contents and an illustration directory, work with stylesheets, format an attachment. This is about the convenient handling of the literature management program Citavi. Citavi is ideal for structuring scientific literature, organizing knowledge and writing scientific papers. Viadrina provides its students and employees with a free campus license. In the workshop, the participants learn the most important tools of the program and try them out, using writing exercises. Participants are welcome to structure a real writing project in the workshop. For this they should bring along a selection of literature as well as a bibliography.
