Host Families

Who takes part in our program?

People living in Frankfurt (Oder) or in Slubice:

• families and singles
• young and older people
• with or without language skills

What is the job of a host family?

A host family hasn't got any obligations. It depends on the creativity and inventiveness of the host family and the students. The host family:

• can show the city and make the student familiar with the new environment
• will try to help with any problem the student might have to face, e.g. medical aid, the authorities...
• can help to improve German
• will NOT provide the student with any accommodation!
