With this program, the Viadrina is reacting to the low number of women and gender diverse people in leadership positions. Still, several disadvantageous structures are hindering the equal participation of these people in the professional environment.

Viadrina Mentoring is an effective instrument of individual support, which is opening the possibility to doctoral candidates to be fostered and strengthened at an early stage in their self-dependent academic career paths.

The integrated qualification and framework program enables the participants to develop competences, relevant to research, leadership and management functions in the academic system and in professionally relevant fields that improve the career opportunities of the participants and supports the establishment of network structures.
