What is the Erasmus Budget?
Every student has an Erasmus Budget of 12 months (360 days) during their current degree course (Bachelor, Master, PhD). This means that they can spend 12 months abroad under Erasmus+. This also includes “Zero Grant Days” which do not receive financial support.
This Erasmus+ Budget can be used by every student for one or several Erasmus Study Visits (SMS), internships (SMP) up to one year after graduation. For example, as a Bachelor’s student it is possible to carry out a 5 month Erasmus study visit, a 4 month internship and a further 3 month internship after graduation. A further 12 months are available for Master’s students.
