Wir leben in herausfordernden Zeiten: In der Ukraine herrscht Krieg, die Pandemie begleitet uns nach über zwei Jahren noch immer, der Klimawandel schreitet voran. Viele von uns fühlen sich verängstigt, überfordert und erschöpft. Die Herausforderungen scheinen nicht zu bewältigen, die ständige Konfrontation mit den Nachrichten erzeugt jeden Tag aufs Neue Angst, Hilflosigkeit und Wut.

Damit wir gerade in diesen Zeiten handlungsfähig bleiben, brauchen wir einen achtsamen Umgang mit den Nachrichten bzw. den Medien, die sie uns präsentieren, und mit den Emotionen, die diese Nachrichten in uns auslösen. In diesem Workshop sollen anhand praktischer Übungen und Reflexionen Wege aufgezeigt werden, wie die Achtsamkeit uns unterstützen kann, sinnvoll und selbstfürsorglich mit uns und den aktuellen Herausforderungen umzugehen.

Every day we are confronted with advertising. How can we still make our events and interests visible? In this workshop you will learn the basic principles of conceptional design. Together we will develop the best visual elements to showcase your message. Especially for beginners there are a few free tools available to quickly design beautiful posters, flyers, graphics and videos. We will test these digital tools and create first concrete designs for the real world.

In this workshop you will learn how to show the best version of yourself online. We’ll explore what a good LinkedIn profile looks like and how to use LinkedIn to map out your job market. We will discuss how you can build your network and how to use LinkedIn groups and company pages.

Täglich stehen wir vor der Wahl: Nehme ich Menü 1 oder 2 in der Mensa? Wechsle ich das Studienfach? Mache ich ein Auslandssemester? Nehme ich ein Jobangebot an oder lehne ich ab? Bist du in solchen oder ähnlichen Situationen unentschlossen oder überfordert? Bist du manchmal unglücklich über getroffene Entscheidungen? Methoden und Strategien zur Entscheidungsfindung helfen in unterschiedlichsten Situationen. Sie unterstützen dich deine Gedanken so zu strukturieren, sodass du langfristig sicherer Entscheidungen triffst.

Der 3-stündige digitale Workshop hat das Ziel, grundlegende Kenntnisse zur Entscheidungsfindung und unterstützenden Methoden und Strategien zum Treffen von Entscheidungen zu vermitteln und mit Hilfe von praktischen Übungen allein oder in Kleingruppen verschiedene Methoden anzuwenden und auszuprobieren. Da das Training praxisnah und interaktiv gestaltet wird, ist das Einbringen eines eigenen Entscheidungsproblems sowie dein aktives Mitwirken in den Übungen erforderlich.

Viele Frauen sehen sich im Alltag sexualisierter und/oder rassistischer Übergriffe gegen Frauen ausgesetzt. Egal ob aufdringliche Blicke, anzügliche Kommentare oder Witze, das Zeigen obszöner Darstellungen oder gar physische Übergriffe zu diesen Grenzüberschreitungen führen - oft stellt sich ein Gefühl der Hilflosigkeit bei der Überschreitung dieser eigenen Grenzen ein. Sexualisierte und/oder rassistische Übergriffe und Grenzüberschreitungen passieren auf der Straße, in der Familie, aber auch in der Universität. Ziel dieses Empowerment-Workshops ist die Selbstbehauptung. Je besser dies gelingt, umso seltener ist eine körperliche Selbstverteidigung notwendig.

Inhalte des Kurses:

• Basisübungen zu Atem, Stimme, Stand und Gleichgewicht
• Bewegungs- und Reaktionsübungen
• Wahrnehmungsübungen
• Einfache und wirkvolle Tritte, Schläge und Befreiungstechniken
• Übungen zur Körpersprache

Zielgruppe: Internationale Studentinnen, Studentinnen mit Migrations- und/oder Fluchthintergrund. Mit dem Beginn eines Studiums in Deutschland stehen internationale Studierende vor vielen neuen Herausforderungen. Dabei spielt das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten für ein erfolgreiches Studium eine zentrale Rolle. Nicht nur zum Leistungsnachweis oder in der Abschlussarbeit ist das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten wichtig – auch beim Er- und Verarbeiten von Wissen und beim Entwickeln neuer Ideen! Für Studierende ist es daher wichtig, die eigenen Schreibfertigkeiten kontinuierlich zu reflektieren und auszubauen.

Das Seminar vermittelt Grundlagen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens und Lesens und berücksichtigt dabei die besondere Situation und die Bedarfe internationaler Studierender an der Europa-Universität Viadrina. Wie kann man sich deutschsprachige Fachtexte erschließen? Wie kann man vorgehen, wenn man schriftliche Arbeiten in der Zweit- oder Fremdsprache Deutsch für das Studium verfassen muss? Dabei werden auch Besonderheiten des deutschen Studiensystems sowie Fragen der Arbeitsorganisation und der Motivation behandelt.
