European fellowships
Researchers around the world can be awarded with a fellowships for a research stay of 12 to 14 months in an EU or EU-associated country. As a rule, eligible applicants are researchers holding a doctorate who have not been resident in the county of the host institution for longer than one year (cut-off date: the call deadline).
Global fellowships
Postdocs can be awarded with a fellowship for a research stay for 12 to 14 months in a non-EU country as well as a mandatory return period of 12 months. As a rule, eligible applicants are researchers holding a doctorate who have not been resident in the non-EU country of the host institution for longer than one year (cut-off date: the call deadline). Candidates must be either European nationals or long-term residents, that is researchers that have been employed full-time in a University or research Institution in an EU or EU-associated country for at least five consecutive years.
