International research cooperations as well as EU funded research projects increasingly gain in importance at the European-University Viadrina. Being the central contact point for all questions related to EU funding issues, we pursue the strategic objective to anchoring and promoting Viadrina as an attractive research site at the EU level for excellent international researchers.

By raising funds from European and international donators, we aim not only at enhancing the visibility of the university and its researchers on the European level. This includes giving our academics the opportunity to entering the European stage and exchaning with EU civil servants and decision makers in the area of research & innovation in order to shaping European research policy.
