European University Viadrina invites to ERLab Days – Scientific and practical exploration of entrepreneurial ecosystems

What constitutes an entrepreneurial ecosystem and what role do the three success factors creativity, communication and community play? The ERLab Days from May 27 to May 29, 2024 will address these questions in a mixture of scientific conference and regional exploration in Berlin and Brandenburg. It is the first major event of the "Entrepreneurship Research Lab (ERLab)" research project at the European University Viadrina (Frankfurt Oder). The event aims to network researchers, founders and people from business practice in order to strengthen the transfer between research and practice.

The first day of the ERLab Days is dedicated to scientific exchange on the topics of communication, creativity and community in an entrepreneurial context. Speakers include communication scientist Prof. Dr. Guda Van Noort (University of Amsterdam), Prof. Dr. Matthias Menter, Professor of Corporate Development, Innovation and Economic Change at the University of Jena, and entrepreneurship expert Prof. Dr. Orla Byrne (University of Dublin). In addition to their presentations, contributions from successful founders as well as workshops and a panel discussion are planned.

The second day of the conference includes a practical tour to the ice cream factory "IceGuerilla" in Beeskow and the Hardtech Innovation Center MotionLab in Berlin. The conference will conclude with an evening together at the "Kante" restaurant in Berlin Kreuzberg.

The Entrepreneurship Research Lab is a research project at the European University Viadrina in cooperation with the chairs of Prof. Dr. Jochen Koch (Management and Organization), Prof. Dr. Albrecht Söllner (International Markting) and Prof. Dr. Martin Eisend (Marketing) and the Campus Founders gGmbH in Heilbronn, funded by the Dieter Schwarz Foundation.
