European University Viadrina holds the opening ceremony of the Competence Network Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies

On Thursday, 11 July 2024, the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) will officially open the Competence Network Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies Frankfurt (Oder) - Berlin (KIU). The KIU is a project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service to strengthen Ukraine-related research, teaching, networking and transfer activities for four years. In addition to the Viadrina, the Center for East European and International Studies Berlin (ZOiS), the Humboldt University Berlin, the Free University Berlin, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin are part of the competence network.

The ceremony starts at 4 p.m. in the Logensaal of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). The event will be held in English. Further information and the registration form can be found at www.europa-uni.de/kiu.
