Foundation Board

The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg has appointed the following members to the 5th Foundation Board for the term of office from 1 March 2024 to 29 February 2028:

• Tobias Dünow, State Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture (MWFK)
• Prof. Dr Michael Göring, foundation manager and author, honorary professor at the Institute for Culture and Media Management at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg
• Prof. Dr Sabine Maasen, Head of the Professorship of Science and Innovation, Department of Socioeconomics in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg (Deputy Chair)
• Cornelia Pieper, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Gdansk
• Dr Angela Rapp, lawyer
• Ambassador (ret.) Janusz Reiter, Chairman of the Foundation Board of the Centre for International Relations in Warsaw, Viadrina Prize winner 2002
• Dr Regina Ruppert, Managing Partner of Selaestus Personal Management GmbH
• Prof. Dr Gerhard Sagerer, Emeritus Professor of Applied Computer Science and former Rector of Bielefeld University (Chairman)
• Prof. Dr Kerstin Schoor, holder of the Axel Springer Chair for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History, Exile and Migration at the European University Viadrina

The Foundation Office is the liaison office between the University, the Foundation Board and the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg. It coordinates and organises all matters relating to the Foundation Board and, in particular, supports the Chairman of the Foundation Board in the performance of his duties.
