National research funding

The funding programs of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and funding by the federal government institutions of Germany are the main pillars of national research funding. In addition, third-party funding can be applied for via numerous other organizations and foundations.

EU research funding

International research collaborations and research projects financed by European funding are becoming increasingly important at Viadrina. As the central point of contact for questions relating to EU research funding, we pursue the strategic goal of establishing Viadrina as an attractive research location for excellent academics on the European stage.
