Welcome to the Viadrina Children's University

Welcome to Viadrina Children's University

Are you between 8 and 13 years old? Did you always want to experience a lecture in a real university lecture hall? The Viadrina Children's University is the right place for you then!

On four Wednesday afternoons, you can experience our researchers live! They will hold lectures for you in a lecture hall, which is what the classrooms at a university are called. Your parents, grandparents and younger siblings can watch the lectures on a screen next door.

You do not have to pay anything - the participation is free. All you have to do is register and you will receive a children's university student ID card. As our older students, you can enjoy a meal in the university canteen after the lecture. You only pay one euro for this.

The Viadrina Children's University is a joint project of Frankfurt citizens. The patron is the President of the European University Viadrina. The Children's University is supported by the Lions Club and the Viadrina's Department of Communication.

The next Viadrina Children's University will take place in March 2025.
