The European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) is intensifying its international networking. It has just become the first university in Brandenburg to be accepted into two renowned global university alliances.

By joining the Berlin School of Economics, the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) is offering its young researchers even better support. On 9 October, the Viadrina will be officially welcomed into the network of seven universities and scientific institutions with economics departments from Berlin and Potsdam as part of the annual welcome event at the Humboldt University Berlin.

Few communicators decide whether a crisis is a crisis and how bad it is perceived. With this basic thesis in mind, researchers at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) have analysed the crisis communication of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) during the coronavirus pandemic in a study now published in the renowned international Journal of Management Studies. With that they have created a process model of crisis modulation.
