Management and coordination

Management and coordination

ERUA meeting at the European University Viadrina

Content and objectives

The "Management and coordination" work area aims to ensure the coordination of ERUA activities and the long-term sustainability of the ERUA Alliance.

This is achieved through:

  • Establishing all governing bodies (Administrative Board, Steering Committee, Board of Rectors, Student Council)
  • Formulating management guidelines
  • Development of a long-term, sustainable strategy for ERUA
  • Establishing a reformed ERUA administrative structure
  • Implementing efficient project and financial management
  • Setting up quality management processes
  • Creating shared services
  • Developing an advocacy strategy (“Advocacy Group”)
  • Establishing an “Advocacy Group” on human rights

Ways to get involved

Students, academics and adminstrative staff as well as civil society actors can benefit from ERUA and participate in a variety of ways. The ERUA management team at the Viadrina is happy to provide specific information on the opportunities to engage in various ERUA initiatives.

Examples of the added value of ERUA for students, academics and employees of the Viadrina are:

  • Collaboration in teaching and research at European level
  • Mobility opportunities within the ERUA network
  • Conferences and summer schools at the ERUA partner universities

The working area is open and approachable for impulses and ideas for the network and the anchoring of ERUA at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) - from the university itself as well as from civil society.
