Viadrina Ambassadors

We are looking for ...

...STUDENTS OF ALL SUBJECTS

From the 1st semester onwards, who have completed their A-levels in Germany and who, as Viadrina ambassadors, conduct workshops at schools and at the Viadrina with high school students, report on their studies and present the university.

The workshops take place online and on site.

The collaboration is on a honourarium basis.

At the transition from school to university, we want to give pupils an initial impetus to engage with study orientation and show them opportunities to find a degree programme that is suitable for them.

Who better to do this than our students?

The ambassador project aims to motivate students to study and convey what is special about studying at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).

The Viadrina Ambassadors

• provide authentic information about studying
• the process of study orientation at schools
• reduce inhibitions and
• communicate the many facets and possibilities of studying to pupils.

 As Viadrina ambassadors, you will report on your path to university and provide insights into student life. The ambassador project is also an opportunity to reflect on and review your own positions and goals:

• Why did I decide to go to university?
• Why did I choose Viadrina?
• Who or what influenced me in my decision?
• How do I prepare for a degree programme as a high school graduate?
• What was it like for me to leave home?
• How did I find my way around the university?
• What does my everyday life as a student look like?
