Creativity is a decisive factor for innovation and growth in companies.

The "creativity@region" project offers the opportunity to tackle a specific problem or challenge with the help of various creativity techniques. To this end, Viadrina students teach these techniques to selected employees of a company as part of a workshop and then put them into practice. The close collaboration between students and employees enables a creative exchange of ideas and perspectives, which ultimately leads to concrete solutions.

The cooperation between the European University Viadrina and the companies shows how important the combination of academic knowledge and practical application is. Such partnerships enable students to apply their skills in a real working environment beyond the lecture theatre. At the same time, companies benefit from the students' fresh ideas and perspectives. The workshops not only strengthen relationships between the companies and the university, but also demonstrate the importance of regional collaboration in tackling business challenges.

The project is part of a course offered by the Chair of Macroeconomics under the direction of Professorship Dr Georg Stadtmann with the support of the Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer and WFBB.
