Inclusion and participation
What does that mean at the Viadrina?
In order to enable equal access and participation for all students and employees, Viadrina is working to provide inclusive study, research and working conditions, reduce environmental and/or behavioural barriers and remove them in the long term. This enables an active and self-determined organisation of university areas, especially for people with disabilities. As a university that values diversity and recognises it as a resource, Viadrina is committed to dismantling discrimination and ableist structures. To this end, it is important to make the needs of all university members with disabilities visible, to be approachable and, in particular, to improve the accessibility of (digital) services. This is the only way to ensure equal and non-discriminatory study, research and work for all people.
Basis for action
