Department of Facility Management (Department IV)

About us

On the one hand, the Department of Facility Management is responsible for the planning and implementation of small and large construction measures as well as building maintenance. On the other hand, the portfolio includes infrastructural building and event management such as room planning, the organisation of special events and technical instruction. It also manages the post and copy centre and the Guest House. Locksmith services and other services such as repairs, waste disposal and cleaning also fall within the remit of the department.

Guest House

The guest house is located at Sophienstraße 6 in Frankfurt (Oder). From there, the university and the city centre can be reached in 15 minutes on foot or in 5 minutes by bus.

There are eleven fully furnished 1-, 2- and 3-room apartments in the guest house. The flats are between 27.5 m² and 72.3 m² in size. They are fully furnished and have a kitchenette and bathroom.
The flats are primarily let to visiting academics from the university.
