Workshops and conferences

We regularly organise various event formats at the university on business-relevant research topics by Viadrina academics. Change of perspective

We are also a cooperation partner in the IHK project Perspektivwechsel. In the IHK project "PerspektivWechsel", entrepreneurs and researchers swap jobs for a day to experience the working world of the other. This change of perspective is intended to help medium-sized companies establish contacts with research and scientific institutions gain an impression of the regional economy.

The aim of the exchange programme is to get to know each other's work better, to further intensify cooperation between science and industry and to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology. This role reversal will be accompanied by high-profile reporting.

Frankfurt (Oder) offers start-ups, company founders and successors a strong network of partners - including the Viadrina, IHK, HWK, WFBB and many more. The city administration provides active support and puts people in touch with the right contacts. With innovative formats such as "Casual Friday" and the new start-up round table, the region is focussing on cross-sector exchange and practical impulses. The aim is to address the challenges faced by founders and start-ups and create a platform for inspiration and networking. Together, regional players are pooling their resources to support entrepreneurs on their path to success.
