Instructional videos

In the summer semester 2023, we offered Viadrina lecturers the opportunity to professionally implement a teaching video format in a supervised process. They were able to try out different video styles - from animation, layering techniques, stop motion and talking head to illustration.

The focus was on the intensive development of a script. You were supported by feedback from colleagues, individual coaching sessions and two workshops. Over the course of the semester, you and a peer from a related discipline gave each other feedback on your scripts. (Your peer was selected on the basis of the applications.) In addition, you were able to attend individual coaching sessions on two dates.

The PROKODIL team organised the workshops, shooting days and post-production. Work on the script and meetings with your peer took place asynchronously during the lecture period according to individual availability. The shooting dates were flexibly scheduled for July, August or September.
