Participation is free, but registration is required. Please note: the number of participants is limited to 25 early career researchers.

Program

The ERUA-Viadrina Research Week is a dedicated event for early-career researchers from across the ERUA partner universities.
It offers a space to strengthen research skills, exchange experiences, and build valuable academic networks. Participation is free of charge.

The program includes interactive workshops, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities. Core topics include:

  • Mental Health in Academia (Keynote)
  • Grant Writing & Academic Publishing
  • Open Science & Research Data Management
  • Professional Networking and Science Communication

Target Group: Master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers
Working Language: English
Certificates: Participation certificates are available upon request; no ECTS credits
Accessibility: Main venues are wheelchair-accessible. Please contact us in advance if you have specific support needs — including assistance with finding suitable childcare options during the Research Week.

Travel

Frankfurt (Oder) is easily accessible by train from Berlin and is located near the German-Polish border. Please do not confuse it with the other Frankfurt – Frankfurt am Main. It's advisable to double-check before booking a bus, train, or flight ticket.

Please check with your home university for Erasmus+ or ERUA mobility funding. Viadrina does not provide travel or accommodation funding.
