Learning material and tools

At the European University Viadrina, we offer a variety of learning materials and tools that are available to both students and teachers. These tools include Mahara, Zoom and Panopto. Mahara is an e-portfolio software that enables users to document and reflect on their learning progress. Zoom is a video conferencing platform that is used for online lectures, seminars and group work. Panopto offers a comprehensive solution for recording, managing and streaming lectures and other educational content.

In order to facilitate the use of these tools, the ZLL provides comprehensive instructions and training. On our website you will find step-by-step instructions to help you make the most of the functions and possibilities of these tools. We also offer workshops and personalised advice on request to help you with specific questions and challenges.

Our aim is to support and further develop digital teaching and learning at the university through the use of these modern tools.

Zoom

Moodle

Moodle is Viadrina's central learning platform for promoting teaching and learning processes. Moodle offers numerous functions for managing courses, providing learning materials and promoting interaction between students and lecturers. Mahara

Mahara is a powerful e-portfolio tool that enables students to document and reflect on their learning progress. Mahara supports individual and collaborative learning. Instructions for students and teachers on how to use Mahara can be found on the following page.

Panopto

Panopto is a platform for recording and providing videos. Here you can record videos for teaching, upload them and make them available to students in Moodle. You will find instructions on how to use it on the next page.
